Periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory disease affecting the tissues surrounding the teeth. It leads to the gradual destruction of bone and supporting structures and often progresses without significant pain, but may ultimately result in tooth loss.

Diagnostic Stages

Role of the Medical Coordinator

The medical coordinator ensures the patient always feels supported and monitored. They stay in constant contact, oversee adherence to all recommendations, coordinate communication between the surgeon and the prosthodontist, and remind patients of scheduled visits. 

This approach allows any changes to be detected early, minimizing the risk of complications and making the recovery process as safe and comfortable as possible.
